| A little bit more
history |

Ironically the very thing that united the founding members almost
destroyed the vocalist as he struggled with the pressure of success
and developed a problem that spiraled out of control eventually
alienating his friends and family, it became so bad that he felt
that he had no choice but to leave his life and the band and start
again.
Rather than allowing this to impact the band detrimentally the trio
took the time to expand their sound and further push their
boundaries.
Recruiting former Imaginary Heroes guitarist Adam Brett the band
looks to push the sound further with additional layers of guitar
creating a new dynamic side for the band, adding punch and amazing
riffs, as well as some beautifully haunting licks, Adam has had a
massive impact on the band and the music.
Vocalist Stuart Hammond (Seven Against), was looking for a project
to showcase his extraordinary vocal skills, whilst the Trio had
been searching for the right voice to fill the sound and compliment
the music, Stuart auditioned and the band have not looked back
since.
With an established band, it is always difficult for new members to
click and fit into the dynamic, and build on trust. With Dan, Andy,
Jim, Ad & Stu a lasting friendship has evolved that will stand
the boys in good stead for the bright future about to unfold.
The band still holds onto its original founder’s ideals, and with
new blood, SiXDAYSOBER and its unique sound is stronger than
ever.
With a new EP recorded, and upcoming live dates arranged,
SiXDAYSOBER are now ready once again to push their music, and the
scene. Coming to a venue near you soon.
